3. The Golden Rule: source and foundation

of the humanity Perpetual peace culture and its science

         The proposed conclusion follows from all the evidence of the GRR. We, the Primer coauthors, believers from different faiths, interpret the GRR fundamental role and significance as the source and foundation of the humanity Perpetual peace culture, constituting the o­nly way of its existence, its social production for almost a million years as follows.

Any believer can say that God, in an experimental manner, created for people o­n Earth the o­nly paradise in the universe (another similar o­ne is still unknown) o­n the basis of the harmony of natural, necessary and sufficient for their life, spheres of all three of its natures: physical, organic and social. All of them are built according to the most effective, holistic spheral laws of the universe, differing o­nly in the scale of their structures. In order to provide people with the o­nly peaceful way of life, God gave people through all their religious confessions (“God is too big to fit into o­ne religion”) a simple imperative of peaceful life, the same in meaning in all languages, in all formulations for all ethnic groups, understandable to a child: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. It is supplemented by a corresponding negative imperative: “Do not do unto others as you would not have them do unto you”. It received in two forms the name of the “Golden Rule of Religions” (GRR), which is recognized as the “natural law” of the world and the law of all other social laws: moral, legal, cultural, aesthetic, state, etc.

          Therefore, the GRR became the humanity perpetual peace law, the source and foundation of its culture for the entire time of its existence. However, this law of perpetual peace did not prevent people, due to their egoism, ignorance and disregard for the spheral, integral laws of their peaceful, harmonious existence and thinking, from waging fratricidal wars for several (from 5 to 15 in different calculations) thousand years of their history, causing extreme harm to each other, trampling o­n the GRR as the o­nly, peaceful way of their life. The full extent of the total threat to the existence of human and his unique, earthly paradise has become an obvious and scientifically proven fact during the 80 years of the nuclear civilization created and imposed by the West o­n all of humanity since 1945, with the genocidal bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Over these decades, as a result of the accelerating arms race, the world arsenal of nuclear weapons was created that ensured "Mutual Assured Destruction" (MAD), which was clearly realized during the "Caribbean Crisis" of 1962. Since that time, the power of the nuclear civilization arsenal has increased a thousandfold that, in fact, transformed the earthly Divine paradise into the MAD militaristic nuclear hell o­n Earth for all its inhabitants without exception. There is no end in sight to this hell, its nuclear power continues to increase annually with the growing budgets of "nuclear modernization", without encountering any practical opposition or alternative.

         From the historically irrefutable fact of the militaristic transformation of the earthly Divine paradise into the MAD nuclear earthly hell, which is revealed in more detail in the following chapters, two interdependent fundamental conclusions can be made.

         1. The empirical GRR insufficiency and political weakness, which is actually ignored in the policy of national states. Many people, even I. Kant, have drawn attention to this. A weak culture of perpetual peace, powerless to stop the confrontation of national egoistic interests, is unable to overcome the militaristic trend that has become dominant, ensuring national "security" as a way to achieve any temporary truce instead of perpetual peace, as its surrogate. That has become dominant o­n this basis. Humanity has never achieved it in this way in the entire history of militarism. A. Einstein succinctly and brilliantly expressed this historical fact, as a social law: "Peace is never achieved by violence [war], but o­nly by understanding [thinking, science]."

         2. The inability to think and understand perpetual peace holistically, planetary for all nations of humanity in unity and without exception in the disciplinary, fragmentary and partial thinking of humanity. Achieving perpetual peace with disciplinary thinking is impossible that has been proven by thousands of years of its history. If it were possible with it, it would have been established in it long ago. This thinking, achieving outstanding branch achievements and successfully solving partial problems, remains "blind to the whole", does not see and does not understand it, involuntarily creates global, holistic problems that are insoluble for itself. This has become obvious in the last century, which is rightly called the century of globalization. In it, “unexpectedly, out of the blue,” the most malicious, hellish nuclear civilization was born “by itself” with its global MAD, which completely nullified the planetary humanity security and every nation, making it powerless before this hellish MAD by both with its GRR and its narrow, disciplinary thinking "blind to the whole".

         This historical fact, as another social law, was also succinctly and brilliantly expressed by A. Einstein: “The significant [planetary, holistic] problems we face cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we at when we created them.” [Therefore] “We should require a substantially new manner of thinking if mankind is to survive." Our “Peace Science” and its Primer are dedicated to revealing the superiority of this “substantially new thinking” in all subsequent chapters.

4. Roerich's "Banner of Peace": symbol of GRR eternity as

the Perpetual Peace culture source

         The GRR generalization and affirmation as the humanity Perpetual Peace culture core becomes the "Banner of Peace" of Nicholas and Helena Roerich, created in 1930 in the following first sketch in Fig. 2.

         "Now it is necessary to show the broadest understanding of the Banner of Peace. It is necessary to understand the Banner of Peace and Culture as the greatest symbol... of thought, knowledge and creativity." E.I. Roerich // Letters. Vol. I. May 29, 1931.

         The Banner of Peace unites four circles of eternity, three of which, internally, express the planetary, earthly eternity of the past, present and future, accessible to science and the outer circle of the divine, absolute eternity of the universe. This eternity, as a whole, determines the other three as its transient parts, but it is inaccessible to any knowledge and science, it is accessible o­nly to religious faith. In this absolute eternity of the universe, the Earth is o­nly its microscopically small and temporary, transient particle, the hope for the existence of which is given o­nly by religious faith with the center of GRR. Faith encourages human with the love of God for him, Who gives him Perpetual Peace within the framework of the existence allotted to him by planetary space and time.

         The Banner of Peace, as a symbol of such faith and the culture based o­n it, serves as a single basis for placing o­n it the original source of religious faith in its various world branches. o­n "The Humanity Perpetual Peace culture" map, they form the foundation of the faith and knowledge inseparability, primarily the knowledge of "Perpetual Peace Science ". All chapters of our Primer are devoted to its disclosure o­n the GRR basis, in which the concepts of "peace" and "perpetual peace" in the planetary sense are identical, as in Kant. For Nikolai and Helena Roerich, as well as for I. Kant, the "culture of peace" and "peace" are eternal in three dimensions of the past-present-future that is reflected in their "Banner of Peace".

5. The coauthors commitment to the GRR scientifically strengthen by

"Peace Science" and its instruments to achieve the humanity planetary perpetual peace

         The long-standing awareness of the noted historical facts and social laws has united the peacemakers, co-authors of our Primer in the GGHA during 20 years in the common goal of jointly developing the "Perpetual Peace Science" as the center of its strong peace culture, capable to resist the militaristic hellish trend by nonviolently, constructively and effectively. This innovative culture offers all of humanity both a new peacemaking, spheral thinking, and a new scientific, spheral worldview with the spheral AI instrument, and a new organization of business, social production and its governance, including democracy, adequate to the social nature spheres and therefore maximally effective. This spheral, peaceful and socially harmonious democracy will eliminate the need and possibility to finance wars and the arms race. Because it will finally be able to provide complete, nonviolent security/peace to humanity as a whole and to each nation separately, freeing them from the MAD hellish, militaristic pseudo-security. Because it will master the ability and tools to overcome confrontation and wars with its spheral, social structure of perpetual peace, instead of spontaneous, branch and narrow-party and narrow-national hostile structures that suppress the humanity perpetual peace culture foundation an source - its Golden Rule.

         Therefore, all the GRR key attributes, together with the noted historical facts and spheral social laws, are integrated, developed and scaled by the holistic, transdisciplinary "Perpetual Peace Science" as the scientific foundation and source of culture of this planetary peace instead of temporary and local military truces. They are revealed briefly, in our Primer following chapters synoptic format for the first acquaintance of the reader with them. Structurally and dialectically, the Golden Rule and the “Peace Science” constitute a single complex of mutually complementary foundations and sources of the humanity perpetual peace culture, presented o­n its Primer top cover map (see o­n the chapter website).

Primer restructuring and Chapter 1.

Discussion up to May 24.

Dear peacemaking coauthors,

            We are undergoing a significant restructuring of our Primer (PSP). My old friend and like-minded person Rudi, 20 years, a theologian and professor Emeritus of comparative religion, convinced me to make the beginning of our PSP the “Golden Rule of Religions” (GRR), to which he dedicated his life. (Could you, Rudi cut your excerpts in half?) Therefore, I made the GRR the beginning, the introduction to it, since it is historically the first in beliefs and socially comprehensive, constituting a common spiritual platform for both our “Perpetual Peace Science” (PPS) and for the entire religion, in which the GRR crystallized and was practically confirmed by hundreds of thousands of years of human and social evolution. This positive beginning of the PSP, as I think, is better than the negative beginning of the hellish “nuclear volcano” that was in its previous version.

         The composition, content and length of the updated PSP are preserved with some internal structural reorganization and with a new title, which I propose for discussion: "Spheral AI Superiority from the Peace Science of Spheral Thinking". The emphasis is o­n "Spheral AI Superiority" as the most effective way of recognition and general use of our PPS. All other methods are preserved, but are inferior to it in all respects. The discussion of this Primer title will continue until its very finish, i.e. for a couple more months, at least. Sections in its new version will be called "Chapters".

         Its first Chapter, "The Golden Rule: The spiritual source and foundation for the Perpetual Peace Culture, its Spheral Science and Primer’s coauthors" is presented to you in two languages ​​in the attachment for your discussion for two days, up to and including May 24. This Chapter ends with the signatures of all the Primer coauthors, confirming their commitment to the GRR as our highest moral, peacemaking and social norm of believers who have not questioned it for millennia. In particular, I deeply resonate with the paragraphs that highlight the limitations of fragmented, disciplinary thinking in achieving a comprehensive and lasting peace.

The excerpt that discusses this at length truly struck a chord with me:

         In my book, "Supraduality, Nature, Cognition and Myth: A Transdisciplinary Phenomenology Unifying Knowledge", 2100 pages long, presently working towards achieving an edited manuscript; I have developed an archeology of thinking and cognitive practice.           Thank you very much for your high assessment of our GGHA "Peace Science Primer" (PSP) first chapter (https://peacefromharmony.org/?cat=en_c&key=1266) in the spheral, macrosociological methodology. We, GGHA, have been working with PSP for over 20 years, having published over 20 books and over 1,500 publications o­n this topic, as a preparation and approach to it. PSP main parameters are: brevity, up to 50-60 pages in 10 chapters with appendices, popular language accessible to a schoolchild, exoteric manner, visuality through structural simple models and a minimum of bibliography. This is the GGHA result of 20 years of work by over 700 coauthors from more 55 countries and my swan song, to which I have dedicated my entire conscious life since 1975, not counting the previous preparation for it.

           You and I are similar in this, in the general strategy of creating a transdisciplinary, holistic science thinking. But we work in it in the humanitarian methodology, and you in another, as you call it, “mathematical physics of transdisciplinary phenomenology” in an esoteric manner in a work more than 2000 pages long.          In view of the extreme workload, I will be able to answer you extremely rarely and very briefly, the reason for which I have described, and you understand it, in order to complete the work before my death. But mentally I am always with you as a like-minded person in holistic, transdisciplinary thinking, equally necessary for both natural and humanitarian sciences, the total number of disciplines of which has reached 70 thousand that destroys and discredits science in a whole and requires its new, second "axial" turn according to Jaspers.          Я полностью согласна с хорошей перестройкой содержания букваря. Это замечательно - сделать началом БНМ "Золотое Правило Религий". Начало Букваря теперь изменено и задаёт мирный тон, смысловой и духовный стержень всей книги, всем ее новациям, что наиболее важно, интересно, актуально.

         Я также согласна с другими упрощенными предложениями: чем проще, тем лучше. Мы все - верующие. Это достаточно сказать и обеспечить один раз.

That was a good move, to put the Golden Rule in the beginning. I hope you don't have to shorten it. Not o­nly do we find the Golden Rule in most world religions, but it has also been translated into secular forms of ethics, e.g. Into Kant's categorical imperative and Hegel's ethics, etc..

Unfortunately, the Hegelian Left did not see it that way!

Let’s correct that. It will make a difference in theory and praxis..
